 I am an anxiety and OCD specialist. I believe that people can learn to move on from their anxiety or OCD without the need for long-term treatment. I generally work with my clients for long sessions in a short period of time instead of one hour a week for many months. Most people find that within that short window they have the skills needed to understand and work with their anxiety independently.
I use exposure and response prevention (ERP) in longer and more intensive sessions. I have found that these longer sessions enable people to understand and conduct exposures in a way that is more impactful than weekly therapy offers. I will work with you to understand, correct, and move on from anxiety or OCD.
If you choose to work with me I will develop a treatment plan for you by the end of our first meeting. Treatment will be focused on comprehending and moving on from you anxiety or OCD.
